I would like to be considered for the User Researcher position advertised on your website. I believe that my passion for solving problems, 5 years’ research experience, and strong analytical abilities make me an ideal candidate to join the UX design team.

As a candidate, here’s what I could immediately bring to the table:

An Effective Researcher: In my role at BDO International Limited, I conducted research on an NGO’s product with the objective of identifying opportunities for the NGO to increase revenue. I was also able to design a research plan for the project, design questionnaires, and surveys, identify relevant stakeholders for interviews, showcase my project management abilities and draft a 3-year business and implementation plan that was implemented by the NGO.

A Self-Starter and Quick Learner: I believe that learning never stops and for the past month, I have taught myself HTML/CSS and become familiar with the Bootstrap framework to complement my research and business skills. In addition, to become better acquainted with UX Research, I recently conducted a usability test on a social communication network, identified users’ pain points and made design suggestions on how to improve users’ experience.

A Passionate Problem-Solver: Everything I have engaged in so far has all been driven by my keen interest in solving problems. As a Business Analyst, I made sure to dedicate some part of my day to solving problems by working with the consultancy department team on research projects focused on social development.  It is this passion that has driven every one of my career decisions thus far.
